I am once again thinking of episode 7 when Geralt tells Jaskier to take Ciri back to Kaer Morhen from Cintra. Fucking CINTRA! Like it’s only gonna take a second, like it’s on the way or something and not some epic fucking journey all on its own. Do you know how far that is? 

No matter what the scale of this map is that’s FAR, but it’s also about three countries and an entire mountain of travelling. For some perspective though, this is how far Ciri travelled in the ENTIRETY of season 1 while on the run from Nilfgaard.

So between episode 7 and 8 Jaskier and Ciri took a roadtrip together that was three times as long as her entire first season arc. No wonder he’s so tired in episode 8.
